The ZT-3.2×1500 Automatic Cut to Length Line uncoils, straightens, cuts to length and stacks steel coil in one continuous process. It handles CR, GI, HR and AlSi coil from 0.5 mm to 3.2 mm thick, 300–1500 mm wide, up to 10 t per coil, at line speed up to 60 m/min.
The core of the line is a 6-HI leveling machine driven by a 110 kW DC motor with a 590C DC controller, carrying 19 leveling rollers (21 rollers in total with the supporting roller sets) at Φ80 mm diameter and 90 mm pitch, on rolls machined from forged GCr15 to HRC 55–60. Straightened sheet leaves the leveler within 1 mm flatness, then passes to a 22 kW servo tracking cutter that cuts on the move — up to 15 sheets per minute below 2 m, 8–10 sheets per minute at 2.5–3 m.
Cutting accuracy: length tolerance ±0.5 mm and diagonal tolerance ±1 mm at L = 2 m, with cut lengths from 100 mm to 3000 mm set on the touch screen. Finished sheets are pneumatically squared, PLC-stacked on a hydraulic lifting table and discharged sideways by car, ready for packing.
Working Process
Coil car → uncoiling → straightening → cut to length → stacking → discharge. Line direction: from right to left; the operator table faces the line.
- Hydraulic entry coil car — horizontal travel and hydraulic lifting on one cylinder with four balance guide pillars; traverse driven by cycloid motor. Capacity 10 t. Loads the coil onto the decoiler mandrel and can carry an unfinished coil back to the start position. Controlled from the auxiliary operation panel.
- Hydraulic decoiler (cantilever) — hydraulic expand/shrink mandrel built from 20 mm thickened steel plate, covering coil I.D. Φ500–620 mm, coil weight up to 10 t with cantilever support and press arm. The 1.5 kW motor drives the press arm. Frame welded from steel plate and section steel.
- 6-HI leveling machine (110 kW DC) — hydraulic shovel head and hydraulic press head for coil feeding. Composed of 19 leveling rollers, 5 groups of supporting rollers, 2 rows of working rollers above and below, the drive unit and the frame: 21 rollers in total at Φ80 mm diameter and 90 mm pitch, with supporting rollers. Each roller is carried on needle bearings at both ends and all are main drive rollers, driven through independent couplings and the gearbox by the 110 kW DC motor. Working roller gap is adjusted electrically with 2 hand wheels. Automatic circulating lubrication system.
- Side guide with film covering rollers — vertical guide rollers on both sides, adjusted by screws at both ends, width range 300–1500 mm, plus a pair of rollers for single-side PVC film covering. Guide rollers are quenched and finish ground; adjustment is manual; the welded main frame is stress-relieved by overall aging treatment.
- Feed roller table device — rollers and frame, guiding the strip correctly into the following process.
- Servo tracking cutter machine — servo controlled for high-speed feeding and precise length setting; all parameters are set and operated at the control table with a human-machine interface and programmable control. A 22 kW servo motor drives the cutter forward and backward, and shearing is performed from top to bottom, automatically, in step with the line signal. Equipped with 2 linear guides 2.5 m long and an 80 mm diameter guide screw. Cutting is coordinated with the servo feed and the length setting so shearing is seamlessly matched to line speed for high-speed production.
- Transportation table — high-tension fiber conveyor belt, skidproof and wear resistant, driven by a 4 kW frequency-control motor with reducer; belt speed can be adjusted to the actual cut length. Structure welded from steel plate and channel steel.
- Hydraulic lifting table — sheet length 100–3000 mm (customizable) and width 500–1500 mm; hydraulic automatic lifting with track output, motor-driven discharge of squared sheets. Exit from the rear or from the left/right.
- Pneumatic stacker device — pneumatic squaring of the sheets with PLC-controlled descent; 3 × 0.75 kW motors adjust the stacking width and length; a pneumatic turnover and blanking device works with a high-pressure fan to prevent sheet friction.
- Exit sheet car — runs on output rails for continuous production, driven by a cycloid gear motor. Works with the hydraulic lifting table for sideways discharge at low speed, delivering squared sheets out of the line for easy packing and handling.
- Pneumatic system — air source (prepared by the buyer), air treatment components, solenoid valves, piping and cylinders. Air source pressure 0.5–0.8 MPa, air consumption 1 m³/min (compressed state).
- Hydraulic system — serves every hydraulic unit on the line. Working pressure 6.3–16 MPa. Components from quality domestic brands.
- Electrical system — standard electrical cabinet with centralized control of the whole line. The main operation table provides length setting, digital display, automatic counting, high/low speed adjustment, manual strip feeding, automatic feed, continuous shearing and fault alarm. PLC control supervises and monitors the equipment, with touch-screen operation and automatic counting for fixed-length cutting.
Overall line footprint: approximately 30 m × 9 m.
Why Buyers Choose This Line
- Thick, tough material handled properly. 0.5–3.2 mm thickness, yield strength up to 250 MPa and tensile strength up to 980 MPa — CR, GI, HR and AlSi coil. A 110 kW DC drive and 19 forged GCr15 rolls are sized for high-strength strip, not just mild steel.
- Straightening first, then cutting. 19 leveling rollers with 5 groups of supporting rollers and 2 rows of working rollers, with the roller gap adjusted electrically and 2 hand wheels — sheets leave the line within 1 mm flatness, so downstream pressing, forming and coating behave predictably.
- Rolls built to last. Leveling rollers forged from GCr15, surface hardness HRC 55–60 with a 3–5 mm hardened layer; supporting rollers 40Cr at HRC 50–52; rollers produced to bearing-shaft tolerance (tempering → rough machining → hardening → finish grinding) and carried on needle bearings.
- Cutting accuracy of ±0.5 mm at 2 m, diagonal ±1 mm. Servo length control with the cut length set on the touch screen, and shearing synchronized with the servo feed so each sheet is cut to the same setting.
- Cutting without stopping the line. The 22 kW servo tracking cutter travels with the strip and shears from top to bottom on a 2.5 m linear guide with an 80 mm guide screw, so shear timing is matched to the servo feed. Output: about 15 sheets/min under 2 m and 8–10 sheets/min at 2.5–3 m.
- Two functions in one pass. The side guide unit also carries a pair of rollers for single-side PVC film covering, so protective film can be applied in the same pass as leveling and cutting — no separate laminating step.
- Stacking and discharge integrated. Pneumatic squaring with PLC-controlled descent, 3 × 0.75 kW motors adjusting stacking width and length, high-pressure fan protection against sheet friction, hydraulic lifting table with rails and a low-speed exit car for continuous, ready-to-pack output.
- Production data at your fingertips. Centralized PLC and touch-screen control with length setting, digital display, automatic counting, automatic feed, continuous shearing and fault alarm.
- Named component brands. SIEMENS PLC, Schneider low-voltage components and buttons, ZHENGTAI main electrical components, SINEE inverter, HUICHUAN servo motor, KEDI DC motor with 590C DC controller, TAIXIANG and HUIBANG reducers, HUADE hydraulic valves, DACHUAN AC motors, WEINVIEW/MCGS touch screen, HB/WB/LB bearings.
