Innovative Retrofit Solution for Rusted or Aged Metal Roofs

With the increasing need to replace rusted or corroded metal roof panels due to weathering, limited durability, and aging, our Mozambique Standard 820 Standing Seam Roofing Sheet and Hidden Fastener Roof Retrofit System offer a smart and cost-effective solution.

We have developed a specialized notched purlin insert system for standing seam panels, specifically designed to restore and reinforce aged roofing structures. These retrofit purlins are engineered to perfectly match the original panel shapes, allowing new color-coated steel sheets to be installed directly over the existing roof without dismantling the entire system

The notched secondary purlin for standing seam roof panels has become a new favorite in roof renovation and a powerful tool for replacing color-coated steel sheets. Due to the limited durability and service life of such panels, more and more roofs are facing issues like rust, corrosion, and the need for shape replacement.

To address this, we have developed a notched secondary purlin that matches perfectly with the original roof panel profiles. New color-coated steel sheets can be directly installed on top of the original panel after fitting the notched purlin.

This includes secondary purlins for standing seam roofs, such as:

470-type standing seam purlin

820-type standing seam purlin

760-type standing seam purlin

We can also produce supporting systems for profiles like 468, 490, 360, etc.

Standing Seam Roof Roll Forming Machine

The Standing Seam Roof Roll Forming Machine is a highly automated system designed to shape and cut metal sheets into consistently sized standing seam roof panels. With a production speed reaching up to 30 meters per minute, it is particularly well-suited for large-scale commercial and industrial roofing projects.

Equipped with advanced technology, the machine integrates hydraulic drive, touchscreen interface, and a high-precision cutting system to ensure accurate, fast, and consistent output. Manufactured from top-grade materials and treated with high-performance coatings, the equipment offers exceptional durability and long-term reliability. The final panels exhibit excellent resistance to corrosion, UV fading, and harsh weather conditions.

Product Features & Advantages

The standing seam roofing system produced by this machine is based on a self-supporting interlock design, which allows for tight-fit installations over long spans. A notable feature of the system is the use of aluminum alloy sliding T-brackets that accommodate the thermal expansion and contraction of roof panels, reducing structural stress and improving service life. This makes the system ideal for a wide range of building types, including residential, commercial, and institutional projects.

To ensure full waterproofing and wind resistance, the panels are engineered to handle both positive and negative wind pressure. The sliding connectors distribute expansion evenly across the roof surface, allowing the system to maintain structural stability for up to 50 years. In addition to its mechanical strength, the system offers fire resistance, suitability for complex building geometries, and easy integration into retrofit or renovation projects.

Manufactured from pre-coated, corrosion-resistant metals, the roofing panels require minimal maintenance while offering strong visual appeal and high cost-efficiency. The complete system is supported by a full range of accessories, including eave sealing plates, U-shaped channels, pipe clamps, and various sealing parts to meet diverse installation needs.
