During the acceptance test, the Algerian customer paid particular attention to the machine’s automatic functions. After loading the steel coil, the production line carried out feeding, leveling, punching, pre-shearing, forming, and product receiving with minimal operator intervention.
At the same time, the 42 kW servo motor and gearbox transmission system provide stable power during continuous operation. The servo drive also helps improve positioning accuracy, while the gearbox delivers consistent torque for demanding forming applications.
Furthermore, the hydraulic punching system allows the machine to process required holes accurately before the roll forming stage. The pre-shearing unit then prepares the material for continuous production, helping manufacturers maintain an efficient workflow.
The machine also integrates safety protection covers around key operating areas. This design helps create a safer working environment while allowing operators to monitor the production process.
Precision Components Support Long-Term Production
Reliable production depends not only on the machine design but also on the quality of its core components. For this reason, Zhongtuo pays close attention to the materials, machining processes, and electrical components used throughout the line.
The forming rollers use Cr12 material and undergo precision CNC machining and heat treatment. With a hardness of approximately HRC58–60, the rollers provide good wear resistance and maintain profile accuracy during long-term operation.
Meanwhile, the machine shafts use 40Cr steel, precision machining, and surface treatment to improve load-bearing performance and operational durability.
The electrical control system combines recognized industrial components, including Panasonic PLC, Schneider electrical components, Omron encoder, and Autonics proximity switches. Together, these components help the machine maintain accurate control and dependable operation.
